Indulging in a pedicure is a rare time to treat yourself and our pedicures will positively transform the look and feel of your feet. Beyond the esthetic, a regular pedicure is essential for foot health and helps prevent foot-related problems in later years.
hygiene protocol & nail fungus
The Pink Peony has a strict hygiene and sterilizing protocol that includes an autoclave (a sterilizer used in hospitals to kill all bacterial spores, fungi and viruses). All our nail files and wax sticks are single use only and we disinfect our pedicure sinks with medical grade solutions. This protocol has been approved by a podiatrist
For the safety of our clients and employees, we do not treat feet with nail fungus. In case of doubt, we may ask for a medical certificate. Nail fungus is easily spread, very difficult to control and can sometimes take years to cure.
This fundamental treatment starts with a relaxing foot bath, cutting & shaping of the nails, chose either a cuticle treatment or removal of calluses*, a hot towel wrap to relax the muscles of the feet, application of a nutritive foot cream and finishing with a fresh coat of polish.
What do I get? A relaxing foot bath before we clean and shape your nails and give them a fresh coat of polish. We suggest choosing from a wide range of colors from CND Vinylux or Essie Couture for fast drying and long lasting results.
You’ll love combining a shape and polish with one of our natural treatments. We’ll bathe your feet, treat your cuticles, remove your calluses*, exfoliate your skin, massage your feet and calves, wrap your feet in hot towel, remove the hair on your toes, and finish up by giving your nails a fresh coat of polish.
Ideal for the busy beauty, Shellac is a semi-permanent polish that dries in 2 minutes and maintains a smudge-free brilliance for up to 2+ weeks. We have a rainbow pallet of colors to chose from including the latest launch of the season.
